Microarray Center - Introduction

The Microarray Center of the Centre de Recherche Public de la Santé was implemented in 2002 in the context of the health care program BIOSAN of the Fonds National de la Recherche, an organisation promoting Sciences in Luxembourg.

The Microarray Center aims at developping DNA- or protein-based projects, in partnership with academic or industrial users from Luxembourg and surrounding areas. The group provides standard arrays for use with human and mouse, practical training courses for use and analysis of microarrays, use of equipment, as well as protocols and software. The Center also offers the possibility to design and produce custom microarrays. The Center also includes a bio-informatics unit participating in the design of specific oligonucleotide probes and in the bio-statistical exploration of microarray data.
